On New Year’s Day, we will be open for sightseeing from 1000 to 1700 (last entry at 1600).
STARTING 14TH JANUARY 2026
Canterbury Youth Choir (CYC) is a brand new, un-auditioned, community choir for all local children in school Years 3-6 who love to sing and want to take their singing to the next level.
Through energetic and fun sessions, we will explore a range of challenging repertoire - from sacred to pop, folk songs to opera, music theatre (and everything in between!) - building strong choral foundations of good vocal technique, musical awareness and confident performance skills.
You're invited!
Dear Singers,
I am excited to invite you to join me on Wednesdays at 4pm to sing in our brand new choir for singers just like you - children in Years 3 to 6 who love singing already and want to take it to the next level!
What can you expect?
Every Wednesday, in term time, we meet after school to sing a wide range of challenging songs from various genres and styles, engage in music skill-building games and participate in fun activities!
You will have opportunities to perform every week to each other (if you wish!) and participate in special collaboration projects with professional musicians in exciting venues!
You will build even more confidence in your singing and make new friendships as you develop your musical skills!
What do we expect?
Membership of this choir is FREE! You will receive all music and learning resources, a concert t-shirt, a folder (and weekly supply of rehearsal snacks!). All we expect in return for this amazing opportunity is commitment to regular attendance and dedication to learning the songs.
Places are filling up fast so, if you'd like to be a part of this new adventure, SIGN UP NOW!
