Thy Kingdom Come
Thy Kingdom Come is a global ecumenical prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray from Ascension to Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus.
Since it began in May 2016, God has grown TKC from a dream of possibility into a movement which unites more than a million Christians in prayer, in nearly 90% of countries worldwide, across 85 different denominations and traditions so that friends and family, neighbours and colleagues might come to faith in Jesus Christ.

Thy Kingdom Come Prayer Morning in Canterbury Cathedral
Saturday 31 May 2025, 9:00am-1:30pm
As part of Thy Kingdom Come 2025, Canterbury Diocese and Canterbury Cathedral invite you to a morning of prayerful reflection on The Lord's Prayer.
We will begin with Morning Prayer and close with a lunchtime Eucharist with Bishop Rose. Between those moments of worship, we will take a fresh look at this most ancient of prayers:
- Canon Dr Neville Emslie invites us to discover The Lord's Prayer in poetry
- Rev Dr Jonathan Arnold takes us on an exploration of The Lord's Prayer in music
- Mary Chamberlin makes a space for us to pray this ancient prayer in new ways by engaging our senses
This event is free of charge, but booking is essential as your booking confirmation will be required to gain access to the Cathedral on the day.
There is no parking available in the Cathedral. Please let us know if you have any access requirements.
