On Christmas Eve night, the miserly and cold-hearted businessman Ebenezer Scrooge embarks upon a journey through his past, present, and future, learning along the way to appreciate the true meaning of Christmas.
A must-see theatrical festive treat for all the family, Dickens’ beloved tale of redemption is brought to the stage in Canterbury Cathedral's Nave in an authentic and joyful adaptation from Operation Moonlight.

This live theatre performance will be held in Canterbury Cathedral's stunning Nave.
Doors open at 18.45.
Child tickets are valid for ages 15 and under. This performance is suitable for all ages, and recommended for ages 8+.
Optional Donation to Catching Lives
All donations will be passed on to Canterbury Cathedral's partner charity for this Christmas, Catching Lives. Catching Lives is an independent charity based in Canterbury supporting people who are homeless or insecurely housed in Canterbury and East Kent.

The Cathedral Nave is fully wheelchair accessible and step-free.

Tickets are non-refundable.
Parking
There is no dedicated parking for this event and car parks in Canterbury will be busy.
We encourage visitors to walk or use public transport where possible.
Parking within the Cathedral grounds is only available for Blue Badge holders, subject to limited availability and by prior arrangement. Please contact our Visits team via [email protected] or +44 (0) 1227 865279 to check availability.
There are a variety of public car parks within the city, many of which are within a short distance to the Cathedral.
Please leave plenty of time to find parking.
Toilets
Toilet facilities (including accessible toilets and baby changing) are located in the Cathedral grounds, towards the south-east end of the Precincts, opposite the War Horse statue.
