Teresa Neame

My worship experience

"The Cathedral has always been a place of refuge for me, peaceful and spiritual.

One particular memory of the Memorial Garden is sitting there amongst the mellowed walls in early spring sunshine in 2012, feeling secure after my apartment in Beirut was blown apart by a nearby bomb meant for a Syrian-connected politician. The peace and tranquillity of the garden was such a contrast to the previous few fraught months, being tracked etc through Beirut.

I'll keep it short and end there, but hope it highlights how welcoming and tranquil the Precincts are"
