Mondays, during choir term time (see dates), 12:30-13:00 in the Crypt

Taizé Lunchtime Prayer

All are welcome to come and experience this way of praying, as we connect with God and one another through sound and silence.

The Taizé Community, founded in 1940 with a desire to bring people of different nationalities together, is an ecumenical community in France visited each year by thousands of young people.

The worship of Taizé is based on simple repetitive chants, the reading of scripture and silence.

Taizé Lunchtime Prayer will take place on the following Mondays, 12:30-13:00 in the Crypt:

  • 27 April
  • 4, 11, & 18 May
  • 1, 8, 22 & 29 June

New dates added regularly

All welcome. In person only.

Free to attend; but donations gratefully accepted.
