Terms and Conditions
Universal Credit Tickets are available to those who live in the UK and are in receipt of Universal Credit or Pension Credit.
Tickets are available every day of the week, during standard visitor opening times. Check our opening times and upcoming closures.
One Universal Credit Ticket is valid for one adult only. If you are purchasing multiple Universal Credit Tickets, each adult in your party must present individual proof of eligibility upon entry alongside their Universal Credit Ticket. Kids go FREE (Children aged 17 and under) every day.
Universal Credit Tickets are multi-day tickets; once booked, your ticket is valid for 365 days from booking. You can re-visit the Cathedral and Precincts as often as you like during that time at no extra cost.
Universal Credit Ticket holders are required to bring proof of eligibility, to present alongside their booking, to our welcome staff at the Cathedral entrance. This can either be by logging into your Universal Credit portal, or by bringing your proof of benefit letter. You can request a proof of benefit letter here.
Unfortunately, you will not be allowed entry into the Cathedral and Precincts unless you are able to show proof of receipt of one of the above eligible criteria alongside your booking.
