Wednesday 1st June
The Nave will be in use for rehearsals between 13.30-16.00 but will be open for visiting
Thursday 2nd July
The Nave will be closed until 13.00. Access to the Cathedral for visiting will be via the Dean’s Steps and North Crypt ramp door
Friday 3rd July
The Eastern Crypt will be closed from 13.00
St Gabriels & Holy Innocents will be closed from 14.00
Saturday 4th July
The Nave will be closed all day for clergy ordinations. Access to the Cathedral for visiting will be via the Dean’s Steps and North Crypt ramp door
Thursday 9th July
The Jesus Chapel in the Eastern Crypt will be closed for a private service until after 11am.
Monday 13th July
There will be organ tuning today. This does not pose any closures, but it can be audibly disruptive. Ear defenders are available to borrow from our Visitor Centre.
The Eastern Crypt will be closed from 13.00
Monday 13th July to 31st August
The Quire may close early in the afternoon for choir rehearsals during this period.
Tuesday 14th July
The Eastern Crypt will be closed from 13.00
Wednesday 15th July
There are no closures but there will be set up and rehearsals for an evening concert taking place during the afternoon
Thursday 16th July
The Nave will be closed from 12.30 due to a service. Access to the Cathedral for visiting will be via the Dean’s Steps and North Crypt ramp door
Saturday 18th July
The Crypt will be closed from 12.00
Sunday 26th July
There are no planned closures today but there will be setting up for graduations taking place during the afternoon which might involve some rolling closures
Monday 27th to Friday 31st July
The Nave and Chapter House will be in use for university graduations. Access to the Cathedral for visiting will be via the Dean’s Steps and North Crypt ramp door.
