Monday 2nd to Thursday 5th The Cathedral
There will be organ tuning each day. This does not pose any closures, but it can be audibly disruptive. Ear defenders are available to borrow from our Visitor Centre.

The Crypt is closed for a Service in the morning and will open at 13.00

Monday 23rd & Tuesday 24th
The Cathedral and Precincts will be closed to the visiting public, as we prepare for the Installation of the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury, Sarah Mullally.
Only pre-booked groups will be admitted for visiting. Morning and evening services of worship will take place as usual, and a chapel will be available during the day for private prayer, with entry and exit via Wicket Gate only. Arriving pilgrims will also be welcomed.
Wednesday 25th March
The Cathedral and Precincts will be closed all day for the Installation of the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury, Sarah Mullally.
All are warmly invited to watch the service live on BBC One or the Church of England YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/@TheChurchofEngland)
Our morning services of worship at 7.30am and 8am will take place as usual, with entry and exit via Wicket Gate only. After this time, St. Martin’s and St Paul's Churches welcome private prayer and visiting pilgrims. Please note, there will also be no access to the Precincts in the evening.
