World renowned organist Edward Higginbottom will be performing at Canterbury Cathedral on Saturday 23 April (2016) as part of a series of recitals being held in this year in the Cathedral Quire.
As an honorary member of the Royal Academy of Music, Edward has recently begun conducting the newly formed ensemble, Instruments of Time, in Oxford as well as performing in Brazil, Australia, Japan, the USA and most of Europe.
Edward will bring his wealth of knowledge and experience to a beautiful programme including works by Herbert Howells, W.A Mozart, C.P.E Bach and Arthur Williams, especially for our Cathedral setting.
Tickets for this event will £8 each with concessions available for £6. Join us on 23 April 2016 from 7:30 to listen to this unique and wonderful collection of musical masterpieces.
The Cathedral will also host recitals later in the year from organists Malcolm Archer of Winchester College on 28 May and Adrian Bawtree of Canterbury Cathedral on 16 July.
