The Big Draw at Canterbury Cathedral
Tuesday 27 to Thursday 29 October,
11:00 – 16:00
This half term Canterbury Cathedral will be encouraging visitors to take part in The Big Draw – the world’s biggest drawing festival.
Visitors can pick up materials at the Big Draw tent outside the Cathedral’s South West door.
Pick up a pencil and paper to sketch your favourite part of Canterbury Cathedral or to illustrate a story associated with it. Be inspired by architecture, wildlife, people or hidden spaces around the Precincts such as the Cloisters and herb garden. Finished artwork can be left for display or taken home as a souvenir.
This is Drop-in activity, but normal precinct admission charges apply. Free to Precinct Pass holders.
This activity is supported by The Canterbury Journey, a major project being delivered at Canterbury Cathedral with funds earmarked by the Heritage Lottery Fund and other donors.
