Canterbury Festival, Kent’s International Arts Festival, will once again offer an exciting programme of more than two hundred events from 17 – 31 October. This year’s Festival spans centuries (from Magna Carta to the Space Age) and the globe. Canterbury will come alive with music, street performances and artists from the US, Senegal, Germany, France, Lithuania, Poland and Australia. From jazz, rock, opera and choral concerts to walks, talks and family events, the Festival offers something for everyone.
Canterbury Cathedral events include the Festival’s ‘ravishing’ opening concert by the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the closing concert by the Canterbury Choral Society.
