Cathedral Chorister to take part in BBC Nationwide Competition

Canterbury Cathedral is delighted to announce that Chorister William Inscoe (aged 12) is to take part in the Final of the BBC Radio 2 Young Chorister 2014.

William Inscoe, is one of eight Choristers selected to take part in the National Final at St Paul’s Cathedral on Friday 31 October 2014.

Diane Louise Jordan will host the Grand Final of this year’s competition. The judges will be chaired by Andrew Carwood, the Director of Music of St Paul’s Cathedral, renowned singer and conductor, Suzi Digby, international choir director and promoter of young voices, and Alexandra Burke, BRIT award nominated singer/songwriter.

The winners will be announced on the night and you can hear them all in a special programme broadcast on BBC Radio 2 on Thursday 13 November at 10.00pm
