Thousands rasied in memory of Duncan Perkins

Thousands rasied in memory of Duncan Perkins

The Duncan Perkins Memorial Concert held on Friday 26 September raised a wonderful £2,922.70 for Pilgrims Hospices.

The concert, which was attended by 240 people, featured the Lay Clerks of Canterbury Cathedral performing a selection of sacred and secular music in Duncan’s memory.

Duncan Perkins, who was a member of the Cathedral choir for 40 years and sang services daily, died in August at Pilgrims Hospice at the age of 69. His friends and colleagues wished to raise money for the hospice in his memory.

It really is a great tribute to Mr Perkins in such a beautiful setting, whilst also raising money to support the Hospice. The concert team really did do a great job and we are so grateful for the wonderful amount of money that they have raised.
