Dancing Day

A Christmas Choral Celebration

The Girls’ Choir of Canterbury Cathedral will make their concert debut this Christmas.

‘Dancing Day’ will be performed in the Nave on Friday 5 December.

At the centre of the programme will be John Rutter’s Dancing Day, a suite of well-known, traditional carols arranged for upper voices.
The choir will also perform a variety of contrasting classics for Christmas and an enchanting evening will be rounded off with a selection of best-loved festive songs.

The Girls’ Choir will be accompanied by celebrated harpist, Camilla Pay, pianist David Rees-Williams and organist William Wallace. They will sing under the direction of David Newsholme.

The girls’ musical offering will be complemented by a selection of festive readings.

Tickets from Canterbury Ticket Shop, 01227 787787 or www.canterburyticketshop.com.
