Cathedral to mark the Royal birth

Cathedral to mark the Royal birth

The good news of the birth of HRH Prince of Cambridge will be celebrated at Canterbury Cathedral.

On Tuesday 23 July, the Union flag will be flown and hourly prayers of thanksgiving and celebration will be said in the Cathedral.

On Thursday 25 July, the Cathedral bells will ring from 18:30 for up to three hours to honour the safe arrival of the son of TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

I am delighted to congratulate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the arrival of their baby boy. Along with millions here and around the world, I share in their joy at this special time. May God bless this family with love, health and happiness in their shared life.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby
