Dockyard Church at Sheerness is among the most moving architectural sights in Kent. Built in 1828 to serve the Royal Naval Dockyard, it has stood derelict since a fire in 2001. Now this great monument is set to rise from the ashes.

In this talk William Palin (architectural writer, historian and conservation director) will discuss his role in this unique project, as well as his work at the Painted Hall in Greenwich, one of the largest painting conservation projects in Europe.
