People have come on pilgrimage to Canterbury for centuries. Share in family-friendly activities which link medieval and current day pilgrimage and prayer and encourage us to experience the Cathedral through our senses. Activities will be in the Cloister, the Chapter House, the Eastern Crypt, the Quire and there will a prayer labyrinth in the Water Tower garden. The day has been organised with the Cathedral by members of a team from York University who have been discovering more about the nature of medieval pilgrimage in Canterbury. As this three-year project nears completion this is a day to discover more about pilgrimage and share the experience of being a pilgrim through a range of prayer and other activities.
