Organ Recital

Saturday’s organ recital is being played by distinguished musician and church music composer, Malcolm Archer.

Malcolm is currently Director of Chapel Music at Winchester College, where he is responsible for the college’s choral foundation, conducting the chapel choir and teaching the organ.

Prior to Winchester Malcolm worked at Norwich, Wells and Bristol Cathedrals and was Director of Music at St Paul’s Cathedral in London. Whilst at St Paul’s Malcolm composed a special anthem to celebrate the 80th birthday of HM The Queen.

Canterbury’s recital is due to include works by JS Bach, Frank Bridge, Cesar Franck and Louis Vierne.

Tickets are £8 and £6 for concessions and are available at the door
