Half-term fun with Gregory

Half-term fun with Gregory

In February half term, urban artist Greg Stobbs of Squirlart, will be running drop-in creative workshops to help design a character for Gregory the gargoyle.  At the workshop you will have fun:

  • Looking at different artist styles and character designs.
  • Creating your own character on a sticker you can take home with you.
  • Contributing your ideas to Greg’s final design of our new Cathedral friend.

You will also be the first to see a display of the Cathedral’s new lion gargoyles made by our stonemasons. This is a rare chance to get up close to these impressive pieces of stone carving before they are fixed on to the Cathedral roof.

13-15 Feb, 11.00-15.00 daily. No booking required. Activities are free but normal Precincts charges apply. Children must be accompanied at all times.
