Eco Service

Eco Service

Churches across the country are joining together in worship to renew their commitment to caring for the environment. It also marks the first anniversary of the Eco Church award scheme,  an initiative developed by A Rocha UK that seeks to encourage churches and their congregations to bring concern for creation more fully into their buildings, prayer life and outreach.

Canterbury Cathedral is launching the celebrations with a special Eco Service which It will include specially commissioned liturgy written by the Precentor of the Cathedral, Revd Matthew Rushton and will be led by the Bishop of Dover, the Rt Revd Trevor Willmott. All are welcome to attend.
