The annual St Nicholas Community Parade will take place in Canterbury on Saturday 5 December 2015.
The lively and colourful community procession of children and musicians will depart from the city’s iconic Westgate Hall at 12 noon.
The procession will pound the historic cobbled streets of the city, collecting money for charity and spreading plenty of festive cheer, on route to the Cathedral.
At The Christ Church Gate of the Cathedral the Parade will be welcomed by Cathedral and City dignitaries. A short and heart warming service of Carols accompanied by community musicians and the Cathedral Choir will follow in the Nave.
The service is followed by free hot chocolate and gifts bags distributed from the Cathedral Shop.
