A Concert by Candlelight

Songs by Henry Purcell and his English contemporaries, including John Blow, Pelham Humfrey, and George Jeffreys, performed by candlelight in the atmospheric setting of Canterbury Cathedral’s twelfth-century Crypt.

This will be the debut performance of the Caroline Consort, a group of professional singers and instrumentalists founded and led by David Newsholme, Director of the Girls’ Choir and Assistant Organist at Canterbury Cathedral.
