Not only could fundraising be an extra curricular activity but it can also be encompassed into the Citizenship curriculum for all ages. Working with a charity could cover the following subjects:
- Developing discussion
- Thinking through debate
- Addressing controversial issues
- Investigating Citizenship
- Learning through role play
- Working in groups
- Learning with simulations
- Participation
To kick start your fundraising we can also arrange for a representative
from the campaign to visit your school to talk about what we are trying to
raise money for either to individual classes or in an assembly.
