Quire closes early at 16.30 hrs (last admission 16.00 hrs)

Saturday, 3rd May
Quire closes from 10.00-13.00 hrs for Guild of Musicians’ Private Service

Friday, 9th May
Nave, Martyrdom and Centre Quire closed all day for degree ceremonies
Trinity Chapel and Crypt only open for general visiting

Sunday, 11th May Pentecost
Nave, Quire and Chapter House closed until 13.00 hrs
From 09.00-13.00 hrs, only Crypt will be open for general visiting

Monday, 19th May
Chapter House closed all day for exhibition set up

Wednesday, 21st May
Nave and Martyrdom closed from 14.00-16.15 hrs. Last admission Nave 13.30 hrs.

Thursday, 22nd May
Eastern Crypt closed from 16.00-17.00 for Evensong at 16.30 hrs.
Quire and Trinity Chapel closed at 16.30 for Sung Corpus Christi Eucharist at 17.30 hrs

Wednesday, 23rd May
Centre Quire closed 16.00-17.00 for rehearsals

Saturday, 24th May
Eastern Crypt closed 11.15-13.00 hrs for private Service
Centre Quire closed 13.45-14.45 hrs for rehearsals

Sunday, 25th May
Centre Quire closed 13.45-14.45 hrs for rehearsals

Monday, 26th May – Friday 30th May
Centre Quire closed from 16.00 hrs for rehearsals and Evensong

Saturday, 31st May
Eastern Crypt closed 09.00-12.00 hrs
Centre Quire 09.00-15.00 hrs closed for wedding set up
Quire and Trinity Chapel closed 12.00-15.00 hrs

 

Advance warning: July closures
Please note there are several major closures in July due to the Lambeth Conference. The Cathedral and precincts will be completely closed on 17th and 18th July. The Cathedral will also be closed all day on 19th July and open only from 13.00 hrs on 20th July. On 3rd August, the Cathedral and precincts will close at 14.30 hrs.
There will be further closures due to degree ceremonies and special Services. Please contact the Visits Office for up-to-date information before visiting.
